The seed that would grow to be Coopala was planted in 2000. Like many success stories in California, the company that would become Coopala originally operated out of a garage. With a background as an RN, it was clear to founder Alen Khachatryan that modern esthetician technology was too expensive, and a few big companies had a stranglehold on the market. Using homegrown contacts, Khachatryan teamed up with his brother-in-law and began sourcing and selling his personal favorite equipment to walk-in clients and referrals. 20 years later, Coopala is the top spa and salon equipment supplier nationwide.

When we’re not researching the latest technology, we’re attending 12-15 trade shows every year, meeting future clients and checking in on beloved repeat customers. We’re traveling to the 60+ colleges we have contracts with, meeting with students and sharing our knowledge of beauty care technology.
We also pride ourselves on our hands-on (or Zoom, in these times) demonstrations for seasoned and rookie estheticians alike. We love talking shop, and we do it at every opportunity.In addition to stocking and shipping well-known and trusted brands, we design and manufacture our own top of the line skin care devices.
Our passion for quality and craftsmanship is evident in all of the devices we sell, and we offer training and repair services for all of our products. Sourcing the items we love from around the industry, designing and manufacturing some ourselves, and then selling them directly to the professionals that can use them in their daily practice is why we get up in the morning.
